Clear Policies for Exceptional Care

Our patient policies are thoughtfully designed to support the delivery of excellent care at every step of your journey with Nova Vita.

Late Arrival Policy

  • All Established OB/GYN Appointments (Except Return OB): Patients arriving more than 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment time will be rescheduled.

  • Return OB Appointments: Patients arriving more than 5 minutes after their scheduled appointment time will be rescheduled.

  • Ultrasound Appointments: Patients arriving more than 10 minutes after their scheduled appointment time will be rescheduled.

We understand that unexpected emergencies happen, and if this is the case, please discuss with our office staff.

Seeing patients at their scheduled appointment times is crucial for providing exceptional care for you and all of our patients!

No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy

To ensure appointment availability for all patients, we ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Fees will apply for missed appointments or late cancellations. Exceptions may be made if a patient is ill or has an unforeseen emergency. Fees are, as follows.

  • Established OB/GYN Visit: $25 fee for a no-show or cancellation without at least 24 hours notice.

  • New Patient Appointment: $100 fee for a no-show or cancellation without at least 48 hours notice.

  • If you are ill, or your family is ill, please call the clinic to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible and no fee will be applied.

Fees must be paid in full before another appointment may be scheduled.

These policies allow us to better serve all of our patients by ensuring appointment availability for as many patients as possible seeking care at Nova Vita—your cooperation truly makes a difference!
